Serene is a Colombian specialty coffee decaffeinated using the natural sugarcane (Ethyl Acetate) process. Sourced from smallholder farmers across the Huila and Tolima regions, this coffee is grown at elevations between 1600 and 1800 M.A.S.L.
The washed process highlights clarity and sweetness, while the sugarcane decaffeination method maintains the bean’s natural aroma and flavour integrity. Serene offers a clean, balanced cup that captures the essence of high-quality Colombian coffee without the caffeine.

Process Info
The Ethyl Acetate (sugarcane) decaffeination process uses natural EA derived from sugarcane, combined with pure mountain spring water. Beans are gently steamed to open pores, then rinsed repeatedly with EA to remove caffeine while preserving flavour. Once decaffeinated, they are dried to 10–12% humidity and sealed with a neutral natural wax. This careful process protects the bean structure and results in a naturally sweet, clean cup that reflects Colombian specialty coffee at its best.
Brewing Guide:
Espresso: 1:2 coffee to water, water temperature 91°C, extracted in 28 – 32 seconds
Pour over: 1:16 coffee to water, water temperature 89°C, pour in stages, brew time 2:30-3:00 mins
French press: 60-65g coffee per litre of water, water temperature 91°C, brewed for 3-4 mins
Aeropress: 16g coffee, water 250g, water temperature 91°C, brewed for 1:30-2 mins, press time around 45 sec
Stove top: 18g Coffee – 200g water – 94 degrees – grind size extra fine – brew time 5.5 minutes
